Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
Hi, I have a Byteboard interview for Dropbox next week. The role is for remote senior software engineer. Can you tell me what I should expect in a Byteboard interview with Dropbox or any other company? What's the format of Byteboard interview and is the interview with an engineer or is it like a timed Online Assessment? TC: 100k YOE: 5 #dropbox #dropboxinterview #byteboard
I think this is something new they added. Wasn't like this last year.
Did an on-site with them last week We used zoom whiteboard and coder pad
Any tips for the onsite? I have mine scheduled for a few weeks out. Heard concurrency is pretty important w/ them.
Yes Both coding rounds were concurrency
I just did it last week and passed. The question I got may be different for you, but it is a timed assessment with no live interviewer. I got two parts. 1. A design doc (Google doc type thing), with comments on sections saying something like "what would a runtime for an algorithm for doing this be?" Most were really focused on the runtime. The doc has proposals A,B,C for a solution, and you must also write a conclusion that choose one and justifies it. -- 5 min break or so-- 2. Downloadable code with empty functions / methods for you to write. You can pick the language IIRC. Leetcode easy or not even leetcode level I would say. I thought it was really easy but some of the questions don't have a clear answer, especially in the first part. I felt it was more about justifying your solution.
Thanks so much for the interview details @pynchon!
