I started working a year back and my total compensation is
117000 base
22500 bonus
115000 in stock (vesting over 4 years)
I have no debts and im planning to buy a tesla model x as my first car. Setting apart 1500$ for car payment and insurance, i can save about 2000$ per month (excluding maxed out 401k)
Is this a good idea? I know its not traditionally a good financial investment but can i survive? I have 5 months salary saved up as emergency fund and i am up for a promotion this year.

Save money for a house or something.
My TC is three times as high as yours and I wouldn’t even spend 50k on a car
