other than rsu what keeps you at a job? we typically dont get that benefit on the east coast or if you work for smaller companies. the only chain is 401k vesting period. my current company has excellent benefits - 10% 401k match, 30 pto days, 1300 annual hsa contribution on a 3k deductible. im 9 months in and a new external manager came in and shook things up and my primary tech project thats 90% done may be canceled which means i may have to go back to using old $&! technology in the insurance world. any words of encouragement or advice? been hopping jobs every 2-3 yr and idk if i can wait that long here! connecticut, 9 yoe, tc 155
People treating me well.
It’s always the people.
Can’t find any other jobs
I think connecticut doesn’t have as many good tech jobs compared to Boston and New York. I think you just have a bad job and should leave asap. I had a few bad jobs during my time and I totally understand. The good jobs, I really see myself working there forever and retire. Coworkers and managers makes a big difference between a good/bad job.
Good people + interesting problems to solve + feel I’m learning and growing
B*tches
Great benefits. Which company?
