What TC to expect for SDE-2 in Grab Singapore?

YOE - 4.5+ TC - β‚Ή30 LPA (INR 3 million) I am working in India right now, have cleared Grab Singapore interview. They have asked for expected salary details? How much can I expect adjusting for PPP? This is my first time posting here, let me know if I missed any relevant details.

Tell them you expect 120k sgd You should get at least 80-90 k sgd per year pre tax Also, try to get competing offers Could you tell me how long after your first technical online interview did you hear back? I interviewed last week but no feedback yet

Probably expectations do not match on both ends so they put you on hold. Good luck and give a bit more patience.

Sg tax is really Low so anything above 80k is a reasonable offer I would say.

SGD80k comes around β‚Ή4.2M. isn't that a bit too low if we look at how Singapore is one of the most expensive cities in world.

80k is well above the median income and allows for quite a comfortable life. Singapore is only very expensive if you Make it so. 80k-100k is also in line with other swe I know at Grab

You won't get Indian level of disposable income (salary minus tax and rent etc) anywhere except USA. Unless you have an option to move there, it's a question of how much drop in income you can tolerate to move overseas (assuming money isn't your top priority). Source: worked in India and got offers from multiple overseas offices including Grab SG

This is true, though it should be noted that Bangalore & Hyderabad are fast becoming expensive af.

TBH I don't have any aspirations to move abroad like most of Indians, maybe because of the first point you mentioned. India is still ridiculously cheap in terms of services if not products. I am a little confused about better quality of life vs low cost of living equation.
