what type of sales role at FAANG
just curious what type of business development b2b sales roles are available at FAANG? just fyi, ive been in sales role for post MBA 6 years and total about 10 years, and most of my sales experience is to sell hardware materials to FAANG companies as a supplier. just curious what type of sales roles are available at these companies, if i want to jump. i currently work for multi-billion company, but its no faang, slim margin, and fierce competition facebook, amazon, apple, netflix, google
Those companies aren't known for sales, more for product and engineering. If you want to develop your tech sales career, I would recommend going to a company that is known for great sales: salesforce, LinkedIn, msft come to mind
+1. not a lot of sales roles unless you count virtual product sales such as site marketing, brand placement, and cloud services. hard product sales, not as prevalent in the company unless it's b2b in spaces like Kindle/Echo offline sales.

Fb and Google have thousands of sales people each. Apple and Amazon as well (though sales is less core to their revenue, it's quickly growing for both). Mostly ad sales to fortune 1000 companies, SMBs, etc.
