Currently a FE at Google, curious what it's like to be at a much smaller company that's still on the bleeding edge of tech and well funded.
Savage. GitHub has hired a good lead from heroku- things may be looking up now
Qualified people in management don't last. They either quit or get fired.
GitHub is well funded, even if the funding was a few years ago. Saying it isn't seems to ignore reality. At GitHub you will find a company that is in the process of figuring things out. Every six months it feels like a new GitHub. GitHub's been an amazing company to work for. Certainly not perfect, but I find myself surrounded by reasonable people who are passionate about what we are doing. It's been great.
