Hi Team - I've been doing a lot of DS interviews and some of the hardest questions I got were the following. - How do you calculate bias (FB) - What’s the mean and mode and 25th percentile for the daily FB logins (FB) - If you expect a 5% lift in a metric what's the ballpark sample size needed (Google) I honestly dont know what the answer is to most of the above. What questions did you get that you found hard? #data #datascientist

Tbh not that hard, just a textbook answer from a college ML course is ok, but it had been a while since I reviewed that topic in depth
3D Trapping rain water. Yes, in a data scientist interview.
Jesus, even an experienced Leetcoder would have trouble with that
If you haven't encountered this question before, I don't think anyone can solve it in 45 minutes. If they can, they won't be working at fb
- Triple integration: Sam's - Probability of determining a biased coin in 100 flips: Google - Experiment results comparison after increasing TP and TN: FB - Dimensional data modeling: Apple - comparison of assumptions of GLM and RF. Interpreting results if data is not a poisson distribution - improving page search ranking: Google - Experiment design and result interpretation for non-normal data - convex optimization functions - some super complicated SQL queries - complicated recursion questions
- P=NP?: Albertson’s
