which city is best place to live and education?Vancouver VS Seattle?
I grw up in van and dont really remember seeing sun except during the summer Well my school was considered an avg school and I recall about 10 gangsters in my grade out of 100, and 2 drug dealers. (1 million cad neighbor) So i am not sure if seattle is really worse than that Also, SFU < UBC < University of Washington in terms of reputation
Drug dealers in school?
Yup. Well, i think he sold mainly pot. It was illegal back then
Seattle is better (bigger market pays better for tech and more jobs). In general cost of living is lower as opposed to incomes. Negatives are weather for some people and less vibrant. Vanocuver's cost of living is a big issue, smaller market, fewer jobs and pay less. Then housing is way expensive. Canadian culture is nicer, awesome greenery, diversity, security and public health care. Canadian public schooling is pretty awesome. Universities are close and comparable to those of US. When you compare tution of say WSU vs UBC, probably Canadian is cheaper with the same quality.
Vancouver weather is not the same as Seattle weather? And there is lots of greenery in WA too. I agree on all the other points.
It's debateable. Vancouver is more beautiful and with perhaps more sun as a whole. The other thing is, people in general are more geared towards outdoor activities and may be slightly laid back towards work. Somehow the SAD effect is less common in Vancouver.
