i know microsoft provides a certaim amount per year if you want to take courses in university. which other companies provide a similar benefit to help with continuous learning?
Don’t be a cheapskate. Buy groking the system design interview on your own dime.
Nvidia gives something like $5K yearly for continuing education
A lot of companies do. Usually you can find this on their website or on glassdoor. Notoriously, I hear facebook and amazon do not. I hear google’s tuition assistance has no limit. At TI, the standard benefit is like $8k/yr for undergrad courses or $12k/yr for graduate. Exceptional employees can get approved for more. Note that tuition assistance above ~$5250/yr or so is considered taxable income.
Because FB and Amazon don't want people to do anything outside of work. Shitty attitude.
