on to the next resume....
Cuz cognizant and tata will hire everyone Pay them $1000/year to keep them on books and charge clients by the hour. Edit: sorry its $3000/year. And I think the number is for new grads in India.
Kudos to you to generate enough for so much sucking.
I love how on resumes people say they work for Apple but later find out it is through Tata 😂
When someone puts Apple or Microsoft as their employer in resume or LinkedIn but I discover it was actually a tata (or other) contract, I disqualify them and let recruiting know that they are being misleading.
what if they put they work at Apple but just specify that they are a contractor/consultant without mentioning the 3rd party company? Is that OK? What is someone supposed to do if they work at 1 of these companies? How do they escape if no one gives them a chance?
OP, to be honest they are “working” at Apple. If you are benchmarking purely on cracking a FTE interview, then you may have a point. But otherwise it doesn’t matter.
Knowing the fact that product companies outsource only shittest work (except Boeing), they need to clearly mention it in cv. I know some people who are copying pasting data from excel to portal full time
No not at all. You are working in a project for Apple.
Their job exists only to consume majority of the visa and green card quotas.
I thought Tata made trucks
They also make cars 🚗 like Jaguars
Not all apples are bad in the basket. Some have moved on to FAANGMULA while most haven’t. What I have observed at Indian service companies is you get lot of responsibility if you are willing to slog. You might not work on scale but get to work on the latest and greatest in the wild. In product companies you need to work to a plan and have space for innovation but at the cost of personal time and if it aligns to your passion for significantly more pay. Your choice.
Give it up. FAANGMULA will never be a thing.
True there are some diamonds among the large pile of rocks, but I’ve seen most of them are usually tech leads based out of the US. I’ve seen one guy from HCL that moved on from Symantec to MSFT and then Google in ML. That however is literally one among 200 plus that were staffed for Symantec e-commerce.
Who the fuc says that cognizant and tcs hire everyone.. I tried hard to get there.. Applied from portal, job sites, called them but they didn't respond. It's very hard to get into these companies
Don't judge people by their employers. I have seen ex employees of these service companies doing great at FAANG later.
Slave mentality helps in amazon (not all faang) because that's all they want. Plus doing great at Amazon means doing shit work religiously without complains.
Can’t tell if you’re being serious or you actually don’t understand that they’re bottom tier and only require a pulse.
