Yes
Don’t disclose where you going
^this, youre technically not obligated to
You should collect your bonus first
I am planning to give notice after getting bonus
When will bonus be paid ?
Why do u have to tell them where u going.
I don’t have to but I don’t want to burn bridges. I guess my manager will want to know where I am going.
They will ask. But u can just honestly tell them u would like to not discuss that at the moment and they will know soon enough. Some people just say they have multiple offers and haven’t decided. But I think it’s better to just be honest
Yes with a guard of honor
Sometimes, for intense direct competitors, the company has a policy to do so because they think it's a de facto high risk of IP or biz intel being stolen or you planting the seeds for other key employees to leave and follow you. If such risk and policy exists, then not much your manager can do. However, I have yet to see a policy requiring you to disclose. Most people do for transparency reasons, and there are certainly pros and cons to doing so.
So why not just steal it before then if this is a known fact
Yeah good idea. Download the Dropbox desktop app while you're at it and sync that
That’s dope. Have fun bro
Are you willing to share offer details? Yoe? What role?
No bridges will be burnt if you say you’re leaving for personal reasons, i.e. for family or feel burned out. Your boss can find out where you go when you update your LinkedIn like 5 weeks into the job.
