The underlying tech socks are also falling, and interest rates are rising. Why on earth people think it’s still necessary to pay $900K for a new box townhome is beyond me. Especially the tight ones that are not end units, all of your windows are way in the front and back only. I swear, NYC apartments are looking awesome right now. I can’t wait to go back and get out of a bubble market.

Why would they? Unless they loved east coast ... Cost wise it's same or more expensive in DC and NYC
Culturally rich places with so many museums and stress on social science unlike tech centric west coast. Some of my friends in Seattle are already looking to move (non Amazonians). Also, single guy/ would want to move out as well.
The weather and traffic also isn't great
