I'm an interviewer and I have installed gcc/jvm in my 🧠. If you write buggy code, I'll throw an exception on your white board.

Just kidding πŸ˜‚. No, we just inspect your code for any failure cases.

Explain your algorithms with examples. It helps to put the interviewers on the same page.

So I can only interview in C or JVM based languages? In that case, have you installed Clojure compiler in 🧠?

Also they ask you to do it on a Google doc. So get comfortable with that.

No. But they ask you to come up with test case and dry run your code against it

From my experience, they don’t actually run your code. But they will suggest you go through some test cases, i.e. you are the compiler/interpreter of your code.

Not until someone adds compiler support into Google Docs.

Probably right after syntax highlighting. Which will be right after a feature to disable automatic capitalization.
