So Trump started the practice of separating families as a deterrent against illegal immigration. Now he signs an executive order to stop it. Someone didn't tell him a phone call from him would have fixed it? His administration is like the tail wagging the dog.
Solved a problem he created. I have coworkers that have built a career on that model.
Haha. Good one.
🤦🏽♂️
Liberals smacked some sense into Drumpf and saved America’s soul. Good day !!!
Trump didn’t start the practice of separating families as a deterrent against illegal immigration. That is a patently false statement. We have the same laws passed by Congress that past presidents have enforced the same way. His executive order temporarily overrides the laws already on the books. I strongly encourage people to do a little real research on this topic. The media hysteria is manufactured on this one. Don’t be a lemming.
I did the research. 2000+ kids separated under Trump. The administration lied about the practice until exposed by our amazing media ( hats off to Wapo , NYT , propublica) . The administration then lied that they couldn’t reverse their own policy until the left slapped some sense into Drumpf.
Yes, other administration could have used existing laws to do the same but they had a moral compass not to. You know the one thing Trump, Miller and Huckabee lack. Yes
@eQ, agreed it's an existing law but past admins used discretion when applying it to families. Trump used a zero tolerance enforcement. Please do your research.
Clinton started this policy and Obama supported it. Check your facts. Trump has just reversed it.
I am all against this idiot but liberals (and I consider myself one) should also be against illegal immigration. I always see liberal media call them simply 'immigrants' forgetting that they came here illegally. And no, looking for a better life isn't an excuse to cross the borders illegally. I am myself an immigrant from a poor country. Before I came to the US I was in a European country hoping to settle there for a better life and while I was there a conservative government was elected and they came up with this points system that made it very difficult for me to stay there legally. So I simply returned to my country and applied for a US visa and came here legally. Now I have a green card and if American laws change such that I am no longer permitted to be here then I will leave. I am not entitled to be here.
Lol no you wont
Out of curiosity, which US visa did you get that got you here?
