Fisher Investment! Is it worth?

I have 500k in savings in one of the accounts. Have been managing it well till now. Fishers reached out to me for wealth management. Is it worth? Can someone give me pros and cons of using them as my fiduciary?

    Iโ€™ve been using fisher to manage 1.5 M but have only been with them for 6 monthsโ€ฆ. They done better than the S&P, and some world index funds (with their 1% fee included). Been happy with them and think they do a great job

    Thanks ๐Ÿ™ everyone. The VP of Fishers told me that they outperform index by 50%. I donโ€™t think they have shown me any data. If I see last 10 years any one could show me 30 to 50% more of index because of tech growth.

    • This sounds extremely dubious - I would ask for the data and be sure to ask for the data of all of their fundsโ€” including the ones that they shut down. The way these pLaces operate is to open 10 funds, keep the 5 that randomly perform better than the index and use those to raise more funds. Fisher is a marketing organization disguised as an investment manager, they are not known for their investment Talent

  • Itโ€™s not a good dealโ€” they will just sell you high fee fund products that do not out perform a simple exchange traded index fund. Avoid avoid avoid
