Hey everyone, I would love your help and comments. I am graduating from M7 business school. This summer I interned in PM and tech IB (mid-tier BB). I am deciding between 2 offers - Technical PM @ Amazon (~200-225K) vs. IB ($300-325K). I have thought through many of the pros and cons below but I am curious if you guys have any opinions on how I should handle it.
Amazon: TPM sounds like a sick job and feels like Amazon would provide good training to be a PM, 40-50 work week, I enjoyed taking engineering classes in b school so would love to get more technical, I can transfer to another tech company which sound even cooler like Coinbase
IB: Very well thought out path, the salary would increase by 50k each year (potential to hit 7 figures in 10 years), high attrition (usually 1 in like every 7 actually makes it), long hours 70-80, would be limited to big cities, a chance to transition to an investor role which could be a dream
I am leaning towards Amazon because hopefully after a year, I can switch to a company with greater TC and even try to jump to some innovative Web 3.0 companies that are raising funding

PM at Amazon is great PM career kickstart but there are tons of top MBAs post 10 years of graduation stuck at Group, Principal or Director levels.
IB to VC or PE is a more straightforward path. Most growth and late stage VCs prefer IB folks versus senior level PM folks.
And if you want to join big tech post IB, M&A and Strategy teams will welcome you!
And real world business learning wise you'd be much better off with IB and multiple clients versus stuck working on a part of a big product at Amazon or any other place as a L6 etc.
I'd say if you were ok with IB hours then go for it! Good Luck!
PM is chill, but growth slow, and many PMs out there who will be always better and cheaper than you even without an MBA.
The fact that you are on Blind, means you are already inclined or bent towards PM role. Rethink it honestly from scratch/ground.
If I was you, I would have chosen IB, then switched to venture capital or some Financial services software firm after 10 years down the line to just enjoy life. Honestly, there are too many PMs out there lol.
