Been in MSFT for almost 4 years, and have recently started looking to make a change in career. But from what heard back from recruiters, I feel like my MSFT experience on resume does not help me get interviews, or even hurt my chance.
There was a recruiter from Amazon who rejected outright and said that was due to my experience in MSFT tech stack does not align well with her team. I was like ๐ฌ WTF.
Some smaller companies are harder to get interviews than FANG who do general hiring.
Feel frustrated when recruiters throw my resume back or out the window. I have interviews lined up with couple of FANG companies, maybe itโs easier than hot startups?
