I am getting 2 offers, both from startups, fully remote.
Company A - Healthcare research - Series F (110M)
Base - 200K
No sign on , No stocks , No bonus
TC -200 K - non negotiable
Company B - Fintech - Series A (24M)
Base - 170 K
Sign on - 20 K ( can split over 2 years or take at once)
Stock Options - 20000
( Vest over 4 years. 25 % after first year, then 6.25% every quarter. Early exercisable )
TC - 190 K first year ( excluding options) , negotiable.
Both are remote so I can work from anywhere in US. I am getting inclined towards Company B since it is a better fit for where I want to go in future.
Is there a lot of risk in going with company B ? Should I negotiate with company B ? If yes, what is the feasible upper limit I can ##go to ?
Current TC 115K , YOE 4.5
