My employer filed work permit for Canada for me. I completed the biometric and waiting for the application process to complete for the passport stamping. The current timeline is 8 weeks but I have to return back to India before that. Is it possible to get the visa stamping done at a country other than where you gave your biometrics? Did anybody happen to have done this?

Wayfair has a big OPT hiring and H1 Cap program, but if you don't get selected they do a pretty good job of retaining you by moving you to canada for a stint.
I've personally gone through this and know of folks who got delayed by taking a trip home to visit family. I'm actually debating staying put in Canada now as the pathway to PR and Citizenship is much faster and less hectic vs coming back to the US and waiting 10+ years! #thisisamerikkka
