What is the smartest way to quit?
I wanted to keep my job and leetcode but the expectations are just too much. I work as a software engineer in jpm investment bank division. Pay is crap and treatment is crap.
I’ve been leetcoding and just need about 2 months to wrap things up.
Manger keeps micromanaging me. I am thinking to take all my sick days and vacation then quit. It doesn’t matter how hard I work they always want more and say you’re under performing.

I would say get couple of competitive offers.
Best of luck!
If you quit now and take 2 months for preparation and then start interviewing there will be a 3-6 months gap in best case scenario between your jobs. Think about finances and even mental load of not having a job. You don’t want to take the first one you get offer from just because they are the only one who gave you offer so far.
Also recruiters find candidates who are currently working more lucrative. No one knows if you left the job or were fired.
Only took 1 day sick leave.
