Why do you think Twitter user base is so low?

Hi, I was just looking at a chart that really asked user count for social networks in 2020.
Facebook dominates of course, TikTok is solidly in the middle. But Twitter is towards the bottom with less users than Reddit.
What do you think Twitter can do to drive user growth? Or even revenue growth as well #tech #twitter

There maybe many reasons, I won’t speculate.
They're one of the oldest still-in-use social networks and the ability to easily fire off status updates via your cell phone was revolutionary before smartphones and was their key selling point.
Now that everybody and their mother, even in less-developed countries, has a smartphone with the ability to run custom apps for any social network and easy full-featured mobile Internet access from virtually anywhere there's not really anything Twitter does better than FB/IG/TikTok.
