How is the learning , wlb and job security at zeta?

    Spoke with one of their leader about layoff. It happens during demonetisation. At that point of rule zeta was going aggressively in payment space. Paytm and PhonePe were backed by SoftBank and Walmart. After spending couple of miliilons they realised that the business model will require lot of funding and they won’t be able to sustain. So they pivoted and closed down field offices.
    Remember zeta was self funded by Bhavin at that point of time. That’s the only time they did layofff ever(in their 20+ years in directi)

      No they didn't rehire...and no it was not about demonetisation ...they just didn't want delhi office and closed it down....
      Similar stuff with sister company...

      That leader must be new or lying...they are known to do that

  • Definitely, Zeta is better any day. With 250M$ they can easily pay for next 10 years. Enterprise s/w companies don’t burn money in discounts or operations

    Zeta is hiring some best in class talent in Engineering.

  • Not really worth. Job security is not there. They have history of office closures in the past.
