Customer Service Manager's capped around $120k base?

I'm trying to help someone I know break out of her local market and land a good remote position, but I'm having trouble finding anything that's actually an upgrade for her. I think I'm looking in the wrong places.

She's an experienced customer support manager. Both for external customer support, also internal support - like buying computers/software/etc for people who work at the company and managing the teams that support it. She's technical, but more from a product perspective than an engineering or network infrastructure perspective.

Right now she makes base of $120k in the local market. Don't know TC, but probably $140? She works at a place that doesn't award RSUs or have an ESPP, etc.

When I research listings for things like 'customer service Manager', or 'support Manager', I'm mostly seeing that she's already making the same or more in the local market than what she can get nationally from a remote position.

Am I not seeing the right info or is she capped out on this career path if she stays in support?

Also, what other roles could someone like this move into that have greater earning potential?

Look up program and product manger roles in amazon customer support. Pay starts at 150k for L6 senior program and around 190k for senior product (non-tech roles).

Also for trendy SaaS startups you’re going to want to look up “Customer Success Manager” and things like that. Some companies it may be more of a salesy role and some companies it will be more consultative to the clients.

All SaaS companies will have a lot of profiles like that you can compare against and I imagine those companies will skew towards remote offerings like you’re looking for. But yea her comp is pretty good right now for what I’m assuming is Medium Cost of Living or lower which may make it harder to leave.
