Hi folks, I’m joining a startup that’s yet to formulate an equipment policy. I will be getting a M1 MacBook Pro for sure, but not sure about the spec, what would be fair? I will mostly be doing web development. I looked up online it seems Sourcegraph offers 16” M1 Max 64GB + 1TB while Gitlab offers 32GB + 512GB.
Can’t find much information about elsewhere. What do you have and what do you think would be a sufficient and comfortable machine at work?
