How is the career growth at Lyft?
I'm a E5 at FB and got a T5 offer at Lyft. I'm wondering how is the career growth / promotion trajectory at Lyft? I think I can reasonably reach E6 at Facebook within 2 years but I'm wondering if that's also feasible at Lyft. Current TC: 380 Lyft TC: 470

If you think you can get to 6 within 2 years, stick around and do that. It will be almost impossible if you change companies and everyone assumes you are a junior 5 because of your age. If you get 6 at FB, you will be almost guaranteed 6 at every other company if you pass their interview. 6 at Lyft within 2 years will be very difficult and most companies will probably downlevel you back to 5 when you leave anyways.
Is 6 in 2 years hard at Lyft hard because there's not enough scope to grow T5s into T6 engineers fast enough? Also interesting a T6 at Lyft would be down leveled else where. Isnt Lyft engineering considered on par with other Faang companies?

Thats alrd T6 offer. Chance of good upside is low. Even if you get promoted to T6, 1 year vest will keep you at close to 500k anyway.
I'm assuming the increase in salary and stock vest at E6 is not that substantial for internal promos
