Please advice : rally health or cisco
Yoe 8 years Ignore tc, how about wc, wlb in both companies? Same position, same kinda work but just want some help in decision.
Cisco culture isn’t that different from oracle. WLB is unparalleled. As long as you get your work done most people don’t care if you’re home, on a plane, in a Starbucks, or at your desk. Stock has grown 133% in 3 years. Benefits are good and on-site facilities are solid. There are two on-site childcare centers at San Jose campus.

Cisco has amazing WLB and humble people! But still it depends on team! Some BUs are in so much profit. Cisco has good ESPP 15% off and stocks are expected to reach 60 with oncoming 5G! But you may not expect the work to be challenging! You can join Cisco and prepare for FAANG ! 😊
Everything is is good in this comment except ‘prepare for fang ‘ part. Not everyone on fang make 500k. And people who make that are super smart, talented and lucky. And fang will get 500k worth of work from them. Which means terrible work life balance, tremendously high pressure and constant threat of getting kicked out as well as peer pressure. If you want all that go to fang. If you want good life, most of Cisco is good. Remember, everything has ‘cost’ associated with it.
I agree with you ! I have no regrets working for Cisco ! Especially if you are on visa Cisco definitely is the best choice
