Hey does anyone have any knowledge about iHerb ? Are they as bad as Glassdoor reviews ? TC: 147K
Worked there for a year as well, it's worse than the Glassdoor reviews. iHerb is actively trying to both take down bad reviews and have employees post good reviews for kickbacks. The place is slowing moving everyone to China from Irvine, which involves letting people go who are high salary in Irvine in favor of cheaper labor in China. The culture at iHerb is leadership vs workers, and the leadership always wins. Stay away from this place if you can. If you can't find any work except here, don't stop looking.
How can they move people to CN? I guess those vitamins and supplements are mostly produced and sources from US manufactory? Correct me if I am wrong. I frequently buy on its websites. If those stuff are Chinese counterfeit...then I might need to stop right away...!
The tech jobs are being sent to China...I have no idea where the product is from

I got an interview early February 2021 with iHerb after my first interview with the PM he walked me thru the SDLC and future project they are working on really no big deal but was told they are looking for the outcome of the technical interview. I had a very great technical interview for the SAP FICO role. My big suprise a day after the interview my fill in recruiter called me and said iHerb will not moved on with me because I didn't FIT THE COMPANY CULTURE and requested me to send in a thank you letter which I did but never heard from them. It is unfortunate but looking at the bad reviews I am not surprised.
Wait, they asked you to send a thank you letter after rejecting you?
I got a a rando call from their hr guy, who I found out left shorty after. Based on the recruiter(name was mike), they were pretty ridiculous. I told him I was interviewing with Facebook and google and he said “oh I’ve interviewed with them too, but chose here…” yea right dude! Lol I think you need to be careful indeed
I interviewed for a non tech role there. One of the senior interviewer warned me work hours are long and the turnover is high.

Nope lol…they use to have some bullshit phantom share program but that got canceled for shittier bonuses…I am still waiting for my phantom shares to be paid and I left years ago…avoid this place
