    No. I cannot verify what you actually Google. Just tell me you don't know the exact syntax and I'll probably tell you what it is. Or just tell you to pseudo code what you think it is.
    Seeing what someone guesses an API looks like in a given language can be really revealing of how well they know the language.

    Just let interviewer know what you are looking up. Looking up syntax or function definitions is fine but looking up the solution is frowned upon

      Yes but it's easy to be deceptive and just google the solution unless you're sharing your screen. Most times, it's a coderpad or something else and they have no way of knowing what you're actually looking up.
