Ashiashi, your comments are really motivational for me. Just tore my ACL while skiing and planning to get full reconstruction. Would you say you’re back to near full function? I want to get back to playing basketball and skiing and I’m committed to doing as much rehab as it takes

I’m in Texas so no doctor to recommend. I tore my acl 4 years ago and still not 100% after surgery. I kind of stopped pt after being 80% there. So, like other said, don’t skip pt. It’s harder to recover than post op.

Probable 6 month. I went three time a week for the first two month. Then it went down to twice and then to once a week.

    Feel better soon OP.

Busted mine 2 weeks ago while skiing. Am not in much pain and sleeping hasn’t been a problem after the first week. I don’t wear braces much as I am mostly indoor now and walking hasn’t been a problem and feel pretty stable as long as the knee is slightly bent.

I live in Seattle and looking for ortho/PR. Any suggestions?
