Only ever worked with little backend,ui, and apis

Graduate with a degree in informatics

  • Austin is very expensive now. Also GM kinda sucks thats why I left. You are more ahead with 85k than I was with 65k a year ago in Austin. I believe you can get way more elsewhere but you could use this offer as a backup.

    • No drug test. It sucked because of low pay, inconsistent messaging about WFH (felt like they were always saying back to the office every other month), shit office (not enough desks or equipment for people like monitors, no free snacks or drinks), work itself was very boring just using archaic technologies, bad WLB because management overpromised on deliverables putting more pressure on us to just get it done instead of doing stuff correctly.

  • 40K startup would be my bet if you love the product + Try to
    1. Get a good title (Don't go fancy - align your goals and stick to that)
    2. Get a good stock Grant
    3. Plan to work hard and constantly check the status quo.
    4. Jump ship if things don't go as planned.

    I'm assuming that you have the ability to vet and understand the startup.
