As everyone knows, there was a dot com bubble in the late 90s. People lost their tech jobs. As a software engineer in his early 30s, I am extremely worried this party of great paying jobs and incredible work life balance will come to an end some day. I wanted to get the opinion of the community, are we posed for another crash in the tech market that will lead to massive layoffs and salary depreciation? Or are the economics of the current tech economy far different than they were in the 90s?
