Has anyone heard of a hiring freeze for new grad-ish engineers at FB (less than two years exp)?
Recruiter said they had a hard stop on new grad eng hiring after a phone screen. I'm just curious if it's just because it's intern season and they need spots available (and I should wait) or if I just didn't make the cut and they're trying to be polite.
Edit for clarification: technical phone screen, not just a recruiter phone screen

FB puts a lot of emphasis on hiring new grads from internships, there are not that many open positions for E3 that were not interns
sorry this happened to you.
