Assuming TC is NOT the priority for this list and "Stock price growth" is NOT a priority either.

Amazon, FB, Netflix - these are some companies known for "pushy" and high pressure work environments (in general, sure there are groups which may be more relaxed, but overall perceptions).

Tiers are loosely defined, so any tier is fine (Tier 1/2/3/4 ok)

Can you name some companies (and/or divisions/groups) which you have experienced (or you have heard about) that has (for SWE/PM)
1. Great WLB (Work Life Balance)
2. Employee friendly culture, translating to less stressful work environment.
3. Easier "performance review cycles" (versus the stressful Perf Summary Cycles / PIP culture in some fang ones)
4. Reasonable pace (NOT superfast paced) and reasonable deadlines (as opposed to always pushing tight deadline pressures)

Companies where IC can do their work in reasonable hours and feel relaxed without manager and others creating a high pressure or stressful environment.
Mainly looking for Software related companies (or software divisions within hardware-software companies)

Lower TC (and not much stock growth) may be the compromise. But assuming one is willing to do this compromise if needed, pls. provide some names of companies (and/or divisions/groups), (for SWE and/or PM)
Tiers are loosely defined, so any tier is fine (Tier 1/2/3/4 ok)

I assume 'start ups' wont figure here, since by their very nature they are more fast-paced and pushy , else their survival will be tough.

Microsoft and Google are known for better wlb n employee friendly culture. There could be other non tier 1 companies with much relaxed wlb n culture, not sure if you are comparing only amongst tier1 tier2 companies

Does Oracle, Cisco fall under this? How are they?
How is Intuit ? Adobe ? Salesforce?
    ServiceNow is more "high-pressure"?

Intuit and adobe I heard they are roughly the same good wlb and culture. Differences is that intuit had layoffs earlier this year due to tech migration and leadership is a bit questionable cuz of it. Both have politics and slow promotions. Also intuit might pay less overall.

Oracle is the worst place to be at. Rolling layoffs are there (none so far at OCI though). Some orgs are quite chill, but others are too bad - think Amazon, but substitute RIFs in place of PIPs. And no, here RIFs aren't always performance-based - have seen this personally.
OCI does have a few non-toxic teams, but that's it.
You can guess the toxicity at Oracle when you see both husband and wife (married couple) in the same team, reporting to the same line manager. Its horrific there actually.
