I am wondering what kind of offer SW EPMs are receiving at Apple. What is a reasonable salary, RSU and sign on bonus?

8 years experiece plus masters in electrical engineering. Last 3 years as an engineering manager at a large consulting firm.

Location in Cupertino.

Thanks!

Thats a good deal. I joined a yr back at ICT4 SW EPM and range disclosed was $140k to $190k with median $165k (California law where they are bound to tell you if you ask).

My interviews were great too. 12yrs experience (SW Dev + EPM) & Ms CS. I was verbally told $173k, but written came at $168k with $160k RSU (think this is max for EPM) & 25k signon (a little higher to compensate on revised base). I tried to negotiate once only, but no luck. Since i was really interested in the opportunity, i dint press.

Doesnt hurt to try, how tough you negotiate is your call, since it depends on what is the primary reason of your move.

Difficult to quantify reasonable since a lot depends on your variables/interviews. So best you put your level, offer once you have it and ask folks to evaluate/benchmark.
