MathWorks is a company you join because you want to focus on other aspects of life, and just want some source of stable income. They gave good hikes during the pandemic, when everyone else was firing. Good WLB(no oncall, no pressure of deadlines), great culture and your code is not inciting genocides. But you have to sacrifice compensation.
