Recently got an offer at Facebook reality labs

Level - IC5 (hardware)
Base - 179k
RSU - 250k over 4 years
Performance bonus annually is ~25k

Location Redmond, WA

How should I negotiate?
Should I ask for more base (190-200k?) or
Ask for more stocks? (300k?)
Or ask for a signing bonus? (How much?)

Please share your thoughts with figures! I’m interested in increased net worth at the end in 20-30 years. Have no preference between stocks or liquidity currently.

Appreciate it thanks.

Yes, the numbers are about software. Not sure about hardware.

Hardware? E5 isn't an official level. You seem a HW role at IC5.

  • Ask for signing and more stock. They’ve pegged your base with calculations based on a number of factors. It’ll be tougher to get more. So focus on those two
