comments
Here are my comments for if you’re a SDE.
Upper level management is disorganized and seem to get their jobs from winning a popularity contest. The one person who was great in upper management recently retired.
Lower level management is not supportive of employees careers goals. I know multiple SDEs who have left AB recently due to being mistreated. I know multiple SDEs who have been put on dev lists when they did not deserve to.
Other notes:
Work-life balance is nonexistent.
Sexism is extremely common.
Expect to have multiple different managers in your first year.
You will do almost entirely away team work.
