Hi blinders, I am from India, need your suggestions on getting a job in Canada. I have recently entered into the Express Entry pool for PR. I know it's kind of a tough time to get it remotely but any leads would be really helpful. Please share if there are companies that recruit before getting an ITA and I am open to work visa also if companies are providing.
Please comment or DM me to share the ways that worked for you or your friends/family who went through this phase. Happy to share my profile if your company is recruiting.
YOE: 4
Position: Software Engineer
Thanks in advance.

Canadian weather sucks. Housing is very expensive in big Canadian cities. Canada has low salaries and very high taxes. Employers don’t consider non-Canadian experience very valuable. There are thousands of stories of highly qualified individuals with Canadian PR working in underpaid jobs (pizza delivery, Uber) due to extreme competitiveness of Canadian job market. Canada thrives on immigration. Sadly, jobs are not being created at the same rate in Canada as number of people with Canadian permanent residents moving to Canada every year.
It’s worth moving to Canada only if you have a high TC offer from a global company.
Also, mind you theres covid restrictions here, so not sure how things work for work visa.
With respect to payment in Canada for tech jobs its on par with midwest region + healthcare.
