(TC at the end)
First, thank you blind. I discovered it only few weeks ago while getting an offer.
For those of you who got rejected- keep trying! I applied to Google and Facebook twice and failed.
I finally made it.
Anyways I got accepted by both Google and Facebook for M1/L6 position and felt so happy that my hard work and long process finally paid off.
I've found Google's process very slow and "heavy". My experience was much better with Facebook - got an offer really fast, recruiters were amazing so as the people I met with.
Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are the apps I use the most, the "move fast" really speaks to me (I'm a startup guy) and I found a better team at FB so buttom line I've decided to decline Google (feels good to say it after getting rejected before) and go with Facebook.
While negotiating I found on blind that FB can pay up to 100k sign-on so was able to bump my sign-on to that. So thanks blind for giving me extra $50k :)
Btw, Google matched my FB offer.
TC at Facebook M1: $514k
$220k base, $1M RSU, 20% bonus, $100k signon
Thanks blind ๐
