How does Dropbox determine the number of RSU shares?
Given the current tech stock crash, I am deciding whether I should join in Feb or March. The original start date is in Feb, and I am sure they would be fine if I join in March. The offer says the number of shares are determined by the average closing price for the prior month.
If I join in Feb, the stock price would be the average closing price in Jan? But my recruiter said it would be determined by average closing price in Feb if I join in Feb, because the RSU meeting happens in March.
Need some help from Dropboxers.
Old TC: 208k with today's stock price. Plus, Amazon has almost no benefits other than 🍌.
New TC: ~300k on average for 4 years (not counting refresh). With refresh, it can go up to 320k+ I guess. In addition, Dropbox has amazing benefits like 1:1 401k match up to 6k, 7k wellness reimbursement and full remote.

The grant date is 2 calendar months after your start date. The stock price will be the closing price of the calendar month prior to the grant date.
