Hey guys,
I am starting a company to provide career coaching for SWE’s, I have a lot of experience from friend and past co-workers.
My question: Do people think this is a service they would pay for? And what might be a fair price
I would provide the following:
•Resume review
•1-1 interview prep (programming and HR interviews)
•General coaching on how to talk to recruiters and what to care/not care about. What would be a bad move (i.e. quitting before you have a new job, usually). What to ask when talking to startups, what to consider when reviewing companies..... etc
•You would be able to reach me (via email or text all realistic hours of the day)
•You can bounce ideas off me.
Why I want to do this:
After interviewing a lot of candidates i see most people (+80%) pretty much don’t know how to interview. I feel as though there is a fair amount that don’t care for the company but many also just need the guidance.
Thanks in advance,
CaptnCook
