Howz amazon culture in New York compared to Seattle? Is it more relaxed or more demanding? Also, do you always need to be visit Seattle to be promoted or make it big in the firm (L7 and up?)

Is there WFH option and do people use it often? Howz the WLB?

    WLB depends on the team, I think it’s a little more relaxed than Seattle, people wfh a lot. And yes you’ll have to fly a lot to be promoted, the PM in our team is the only one based in Seattle, and somehow 3 months after he joined the team, people start to think he’s the team lead not our real manager, who’s based in NYC. Our manager spends almost half of his time in Seattle to get more visibility
