Hey folks,

I would really appreciate if those who have experience with GC applications (EB1A/B) could comment on my profile and/or provide suggestions to improve it.

- PhD in CSE with 15+ articles and around 170+ citations.

- No patents as of now, but intern employer is likely to file one on my prior work with them.

- 5+ top journal peer reviews with certificate from Publons.

- Currently Applied Scientist (L5) at Amazon.

- Couple of years industry experience (research SDE) prior to PhD.

You’re way too qualified compared to those useless immigrants who get green cards due to diversity or chain migration. If EB1 doesn’t work out, explore those many other Nordic countries who will be willing to embrace you in a heart beat. This country is going to dogs with current immigration laws.

You should be working with a legal team, but my take is that you might want to supplement your application with strong references.

Clear cut case of EB1B. You will be approved in a heart beat if Amazon is willing to sponsor. However, EB1A in Nebraska service center will be difficult to get with low citations

Working remotely will help if your remote location is in one of the states served by TSC (Texas and New York as an example). So if you can give your remote location address which falls in TSC jurisdiction then it can get routed to TSC

EB1B seems doable but your profile would go to Nebraska making it tougher. EB1A is a no-no unless your application goes to Texas. I recently got an EB1A approval with a masters and close to 600 citations ( Texas) during application.
On top of that, most lawyers wont take you lr EB1A case with reasonable confidence ( Approval or refund ) unless you have at least 350 citations
