I have a bachelors degree from India and have been working with Salesforce for over a year now. I’ve Been Android App Developer through my three years at college and have experience with AWS too.
Currently I am Not a fan of the work I do at my office.
it’s primarily BI work with ML/AI POCs.
I enjoy the POC part but really wanna change my team and get into something associated to Development and ML.
Also, I want to Shift to the US.
I had a brief conversation with an internal recruiter at Salesforce who suggested that it is possible to shift to Data Science Role in the US.
However, I want to understand are there roles out there which allow you development as well as AI/ML work?
Also, what should I expect in my career as a Data Scientist at Salesforce.
And some recommendations, if any, on internal shifts in SF into such teams in the Bay Area.

Ask them what can be done from ur side to do a switch into their US team from India.
You might find someone who genuinely want to help.
The only requirement is u need to find a hiring manager who is willing to hire u and also the SVP of the receiving org should approve the transfer for budget allocation.
I thought it’ll be tough. I guess I’ll just start looking and talking to people. Something should work out.
This mostly resonates with a machine learning engineer kind of role
And What exactly do data scientist do?
Just the ML part?
