Hello fellow blinders!
I have an upcoming whiteboarding interview at Reddit for a Product Designer position. Any pointers/experiences?
There is little to no info on “Life at Reddit”; apart from glassdoor reviews which are quite contrasting & confusing!
Updated question: #whiteboard #reddit
Does anyone have whiteboarding experience with Reddit? Now that things are online - how do you cope up with that change?

The first round was with the head of design. It was a fairly casual chat, not a very structured conversation. I felt like if I hadn’t been prepared with a list of questions, we would have wrapped up the chat fairly quickly.
I was told that he would forward my portfolio and resumé to all the design teams under him who were looking to hire and would get back if there was a match.
Received a generic rejection email a couple of weeks later.
You would think that their interview process would’ve improved a year later, but it’s still the same. The chat with the head of design rubbed me the wrong way. He only asked me 2 questions and the rest was a casual chat. His overall demeanor the whole time was dismissive. He also said things that I fundamentally disagreed with (like that ‘vision’ is too strong of a word when asked about his vision for the team) and had an over abundance of confidence. If he’s leading the team, I don’t want to work there.
