Anyone have any details on what working at Sourcegraph is like? Used the product at Uber and tbh it was only mediocre, but I've used the better version aka Code Search at Google and think it could be so much better. Probably only applies to enterprise companies though. Github is building similar features too. Anyone know about TC, WLB, or eng/code quality there?
Thanks for asking. On the whole, the culture here at Sourcegraph is solid with generally low-ego, intelligent pros. Compensation is pegged to the SF Bay Area, regardless of where you live. With our recent round of funding from Andreesen, I imagine even after dilution, the stock value and growth has the potential to be tremendous. Engineering/code quality is team dependent but I would say it’s solid.
