What will happen to the pending EAD application if h1b transfers to another employer?

My wife is currently having approved h4 till march 2025 and she is planning to file her EAD.
What will happen to her ead application if i change my employer in the next 1.5 months?
Will it be rejected straight away or will she receive an RFE or will it simply not get affected?

Only condition is both h1 and h4 should be approved to get a h4ead also to be approved.
