I just turned down a role at Amazon to join Shopify. I'm reading about many other on here doing the same. Shopify offered a higher TC with significantly more RSU's + a shorter vesting period.
Shopify might not be FAANG sized like Amazon, but it is still a >$100B public tech company that is currently trading at around $1500 a share.
Is it time we add them to the FAANG group? #tech
Here's what I was offered:
Shopify: 150K Base + 300k RSU (Vests over 3yrs with 1yr vesting cliff)
Amazon: 150K Base + 150k RSU (Vests over 4yrs with 2yr vesting cliff)

Iβm still profiting off of Shopify bots :)
First of all it isn't at that price.
Second of all you sound like my 16yo brother when he gets impressed by how high a stock price is and thinks the company is worth more...
Brother is that you?
