Are you saying this because you can make a few bucks referring, or do you actually mean it?

What are some of the product differences between the two?

  • I have betterment, it’s a nice place to throw money and not really think about it. I like that

I have used betterment, acorns, wealthfront, and robinhood. If you are new to stock trading then only you should go for robo advisors. For a person who has been trading stocks in the market for 2-3 years, I would recommend using a brokerage account on robinhood, vanguard, fidelity etc to manage your portfolio yourself. I have had more than 30% cumulative gains on my portfolio on Robinhood since I opened my account 2 years back. On the other hand, robo advisors have only given a meagre 5-6% gains in those two years.
