Data Science bootcamp/job funnel in Seattle?

A PHD friend of mine has background as a research scientist with a very strong chemistry and math background along with a good grasp of large data set statistical analysis.

His actual PHD is proving tough to find a job anywhere desirable to live (read:outside of national lab locations) so he wants to focus on refining his data science skills.

Is there anywhere (entry level job, bootcamp, etc. ) in Seattle offering a type of “data science for math/science PHDs” program where he can refine the data science skills on the job or get just enough for being qualified as an entry level position?
